Love your enemies ππ€
In shadows deep where grudges lie, A whispered truth begins to sigh, For love, a flame that brightly burns, Can turn the tide, and hearts can learn. Beneath the weight of bitter strife, A chance to see a different life, For every foe, a story told, A heart once warm, now icy cold. What if the hand that strikes with pain Could reach for peace, and break the chain? In every clash, a mirror stands, Reflecting fears, and trembling hands. To love the ones who cause us woe, Is not to bend, nor to forgo, But to embrace the tangled thread, And find the light where darkness led. For in the eyes of those we scorn, Lie dreams once bright, now bruised and worn, A shared humanity, a fragile thread, That binds us all, though words are said. So let us rise above the fray, And choose to love, come what may, For in this act, we break the mold, And turn our enemies to gold. With open hearts, we pave the way, To heal the wounds of yesterday, In love's embrace, we find our peace, And from our battles, sweet release.
