Love Wrecks but heals too pt-2
A whisper of hope, a gentle play that someday they will turn to me. I see their face in every dream, a phantom touch, a glowing stream of what could be, a sweet embrace if they would only change their pace. The world moves on, the seasons turn, my silent ache still discern. A fragile hope, a tender seed, that love’s true path they will come to heed. Though shadows fall and doubt arise, my heart still seeks their loving eyes. I hold the faith with bated breath that love can conquer even death. Once an atheist now I pray for the dawn of a brighter day. Knowing they'll come and soon I’ll see their heart finally turned to me. And in that moment I will know the seeds of love at last will grow. A love that cuts but heals you too, a love that’s real and always true.
