Love was cruel.
"I'm gonna hurt you in the end" you say But isn't that love was supposed to be? To be hurt and still choose to love them endlessly, To sip a cup of coffee even tho you only like tea, And to be chained yet still feel that you're free Isn't love full of sacrifices? Just like how we waited for them to reply because they can make us happy—without having to try, And how we stop ourselves from saying something because we don't wanna add fuel to the fire. And we complaint on our friends with the tears of our eye yet, we don't follow them if they give us some advice, and we just endured the pain because we all know that; You can heal bruises by ice. Isn't love supposed to be full of chaos so that we can find solace on each other's arm? "Love is supposed to be peaceful" You answered like you can read my mind I want to use every word that I can find I want remind you that even love was cruel, we can still be kind. All the burdens that we carry will lessen if our hand intertwined. "Jesus loves us. That's why he suffered, didn't he?" I replied while looking at you "So, why can't we?" I added. and for the first time I saw you, you smiled.
