Love ,Never Bound To Happen
It ended before it could take flight, Or should I say, it never felt right? It wasn’t what I hoped it’d be, Just a fading dream I longed to see. It was like my favorite chapter, A story I'd read forever . But I forgot—it had no end, No matter how strong the plot did bend. No matter how great the story seemed, How perfect the characters dreamed, Some things are just beyond control, No matter how much they touch the soul. Heartbroken by the truth I see, I was never his priority. Not even a choice, just a need, While his heart for others would concede. Let’s end what I carried inside, I’ve done enough, I’ve tried and tried. My heart has borne more than its share, I can’t keep holding what’s not there. You never tried to understand, Yet judged me with a heavy hand. The thoughts you formed were never true, None of them reflected you. But none of this matters , When you are not the one for me . You were a mystery in my eyes, A puzzle I wished to analyze. But the deeper I dug, the more I knew, Your heart was never pure or true. You were better left unknown, Not someone meant to call my own. Why do I feel like, in the end, You were never real—just pretend?
