Love Missing, Love Found.
The rain falls outside making her sleepy, Thunder in the distance sings a song. A gentle breeze moves her gown, she blushes, She longs for his touch but he is gone. She recalls their last night together, How he looked, how he tasted, how he felt. Now he has gone to war, gone to join the fight, She weeps at the hand that fate has dealt. She awakens in the morning to a sound, She turns and finds him there, whole, alive. He has come home to her, they embrace, She weeps tears of joy, he holds he tight. Outside the rain is gone, the birds sing a song, The sun is shining, redefining a new day.
