love me
you laugh as you turn your back to me. as you say little things, call yourself bigger(/better) and pinch and tickle me. and you mean well. i think you mean well. i know you love me, don't i? but no, it happens so fast and again, i feel pathetic. as i am weak. oh, so weak and small and vulnerable. my hands shiver, and my body aches as i study your face. as i need to know your thoughts of me. and can't you see those searching eyes, feel those hands yearning for this reassurance? i am so hurt, and i feel so dumb, so embarrased for these feelings that i can't admit to them. i wish you'd see me crying and read behind my tears, so i wouldn't need to tell you; oh, please be gentle, please. wrap me in your arms and never let me go. tell me you love me so convincing, i need to believe it.
