Love Like My Grandparents
I want to fall in love like my grandparents. In a little small town on a no Name road when he was the paper boy and she was the shy school girl. A type of love you can only find in the movies and in a black and white photography. I want to fall in love like my grandparents. Back when he would bring her the paper every morning while she sat on the porch waiting. Back when with that paper came a hand picked flower for his mother's garden. I want to fall in love like my grandparents. Back when the memories inside the photographs were black and white so he couldn't tell if he wore his blue shirt and black pants or his black shirt and blue pants. Not that it matter because she said she loved them both. And he agreed. I want to bring back falling in love like our grandparents. Back when you sent a handwritten love note instead of a "ilty" text. Back when going to the local movie theater and sharing popcorn was the perfect date idea. Back when every little girl dreamed of a Prince Charming. I want to fall in love like the movies. Like my grandparents. Like the little black and white photography you only find in a old photo book.
