Love is Life In Disguise
On this day, my love, hear me clear, If ever I lost you, my dear. Not to claim I'd perish in vain, But a symphony of sorrow would reign. In my heart, a void would reside, An ache too deep, I can't hide. Every day, tears would flow, For losing the love I cherish so deep. Your absence, a shadow over all, Life's colors dim, joy seems small. In halves, my world would divide. Every smile, every touch, a memory sweet, Yet without you, incomplete. I'd long for your laughter, your gentle embrace, Missing the warmth of your loving grace. So here I stand, in Thursday's embrace, Expressing the depth of my heart's grace. For without you, my love, I'd surely be lost, In a world where you're the treasure, the cost of life.
