Love is Emptiness

When it comes down to it We all feel compassion We all feel love and happiness But what does it mean? Will it give us positivity? Will it bring us success? Love. A complex feeling. It brings life. It brings destruction. People say, love is everywhere But is it really everywhere? Love is like a shadow It creeps up on you Boogeyman like tendencies love is. Oh yes, it definitely brings us up But it will drag us down into the darkness The empty abyss called despair. Love will take your heart And just leaves you a soulless husk. At a certain point, should we fear it? Should we just cradle In the corner? It is the boogeyman of course. I feel that we as humans should embrace it. Love can leave desolation in it's wake, But only you let despair take over. We let despair take over at our lowest, Letting it drive us into depression. All you have to is raise up, Raise up from the negativity. There's only one question. Are you letting despair or positivity win?
