Hands against the rough texture, Reminder of Shakesphere words, 'The coarse of true love, did not run smooth' Yet here I stand, truth to prove. A quilt against the parchment, With every shape, From the heart's abyss, they rise, Finally engraved in the sweetest words. A sigh, dreamy and light, escapes my lips, On thy skin like a lover kiss from the rays, A caress with old tenderness. Old fondness in a gentle press. An enchanting smile upon my lips does play, As memories of his letter sway, Ink on paper, a vivid dance, Flames against my skin, a fiery trance. Wings of hope expanding, From his hidden confession, As curious as a cat , But afraid to be caught. A red rose in my hair, Catching moonlight's silver stare, With a heart at bay, yet to whisper my name, In the silent night, awaiting love's flame. But faith shall I not disperse, Holding on to the reigns, Through these pauses of life, That sends chills like a rival. Such is fiction: As such is life It never stops running, Never stops spinning.
