love? I don't know it.
Love, a mystery I cannot grasp, Never felt its gentle clasp. Others speak of crushes sweet, But to me, it's an elusive feat. Girls' laughter echoes in my ear, Mocking my choices, fostering fear. When I hang out with a boy, they jeer, Misunderstanding, my cheeks burn near. I turn red, not out of affection's glow, But frustration, embarrassment's low. Each week, the same routine unfolds, Explaining falls on deaf ears, cold. At fourteen, still lost in love's maze, Others adore me, their affection ablaze. But I stand bewildered, lost in the haze, Unsure of what love truly portrays. What is love? A question unanswered, A riddle unsolved, emotions unhampered. Yearning for clarity, a guiding hand, In this bewildering, loveless land.
