LOVE EMBRACE
In love's embrace, I once believed, All souls were pure, hearts interweaved. But lessons taught, with tears in tow, Some bonds must break, for self to grow. Slowly learning, with each passing day, Not all hearts align, no matter how we pray. For some, dear love, is a twisted song, A dance of shadows, where trust goes wrong. Though I love them, with all my might, Some souls are darkness, cloaked in light. In their presence, my spirit's tethered, Bound to pain, as love is weathered. But love, sweet love, is not blind, It whispers truths, to heal the mind. For in letting go, a new path appears, Unveiling love's essence, dispelling fears. So I'll cherish the memories, hold them dear, But walk away, from what's not clear. For love's true embrace, is meant to be, A guiding light, setting our spirits free. In this journey of love, I've come to see, Some people aren't good, for the heart in me. And though it hurts, to let them go, I'll find my peace, and let my love grow. Romique
