Love at the end of the world
This is a funny time to find you. The earth is ending, and everything that we know is crumbling away around us. Where have you been all this time? I was starting to believe you didn’t exist. I searched for you in every nook and cranny I could reach. I searched for you in everyone that I’ve met— but they were just glimpses. Didn’t any of them tell you that someone is waiting for you? I was waiting… I wrote you so many letters— so many, they could be a book. I thought one day I’d collect them and give them to you. But this isn’t really the best time for that, you know? All the world around us is starting to cave in, and there’s no way to stop the fire falling. But take my hand. The very ground beneath us is all that’s left. We can lay here anyway, as we meet our end. Are you ready?
