You and I can be described as many things But my favorite is the moon and the sun Your light shines so bright It spreads warmth to those you love But it also burns to protect those you hold dear I am the moon I am cold and bare My heart filled with many creaters and holes But somehow without hesitation You filled me with your light Patched me up And gave me a gift Happiness, love, and care And for that I am forever grateful Because I am a reflection of you Without you I am nothing Never to be seen or heard But yet you saw me Now I shine brighter than before With you warmth surrounding me in a comforting hug -Megan
