Love And Loss In Quiet Words
Once, I believed love was enough. That even in silence, I’d feel your warmth through the stillness. But then I learned, no matter how deep the trust, jealousy can sneak in— uninvited, unannounced. I didn’t mean to. God knows, I didn’t want to. But when your voice changed, when your replies slowed down, when I kept hearing names that weren’t mine... the silence turned into questions. “Why them? Why not me?” And every doubt, chipped away at our foundation. Like a sandcastle we built with bare hands— beautiful, fragile, washed away by waves of fear, of doubt, of jealousy. Love, I never wanted to hurt you. But I didn’t want to lose myself either. It hurts— when the one you called home starts to feel like a place you can’t return to. Now we’re strangers, but even in this distance, I still hope you take care of yourself. Please don’t let our ending be a reason to ruin your own story. Be better. Be braver. Love right, even if it’s not with me Because I loved you. And even if I’m no longer the on who makes you smile, I hope I'm the reason you learned to forgive. to be soft again. to love, without loosing yourself. Jealousy may have broken us, but Love — love is still what I leave behind.
