Love Among The Stars
If you have ever asked the stars for love What response did you receive? And if you thought your wish was for naught, Did you still, for just one moment, believe? Was there at least some faint hope For some new dream you would aspire; That warm feelings in a distant heart Would, for yourself, true love inspire? Perhaps then it's your soul's entreat That could sway this universe of ours To console your tense and anxious heart And reveal your love among the stars. As some believe in the celestial realms; Spirits, ghosts, and the ethereal wraith, I truly believe in the hope of love; In the warmth of the heart, I put my faith. So, if you should peer at the heavens tonight, Passing your time as you gaze above, Don't hesitate to examine the stars And ask them to grant you a life-long love.
