Love
love by Agent42's dictionary ππΉ Love, a verb, Darkness and proverbs left unsaid You think you've experienced something similar But it's not something you'll find just yet. It's confused with lust, feelings, and everything in between You think you're ready for it, but sit down, I'll let you in on a little secret. It's not cuddles, letters, or dressing up for dates It's an enigma, a mystery, it's synonym is pain They didn't tell you what you needed to know So you walk into it blindfold No one talked about the hidden tears, Fake smiles, or the list of sorrows You didn't know you weren't ready But now you can't pull out, it's getting scary That you gave a part of yourself to the wrong person That you thought you knew what you felt, But you ended up making mistakes instead Love, a word most misused in history Wrapped up in a box of deceit, ribbons of secrets Flowers of lies, and mailed to your heart with a packet of knives I was going to end it in the next line, but I seem to have found the right narration Love, a verb, a gift to every nation Love is patient, love is kind Love is always right on time Love is a two edged sword Your downfall if done terribly wrong <<<Agent42
