Love?
Teardrops of a desolated autumn evening, While the purple skies fall deep in storytelling, About the sun and moon, together but apart, Cursed by distance, yet always joined at heart. A letter of four words, easy to pronounce, Yet complicated to prove when true love’s announced. Come take my hand, now push me close, Shout my name, let this vivid fire arose. It’s easy to fall in love nowadays, But staying is where love’s true challenge lays. Let me drown in this feeling, so one of a kind, Where two souls are entwined, never left behind. Deep inside, this dream distorts reality’s path, Who am I now, without your warmth to last? I long for the love of swans, so pure and true, Who live and die for each other, never seek someone new. Surround me with yourself, in peace of mind, For I can love till I die, though I may never find, What another soul needs, or what it desires, But in this love, I burn, and forever aspire.
