Lost Love Found

I've kept this in so deep inside, never spoken upon it ever!!!!! Yet, here i am writing a poem about i it made me feel & still for years until I found my perfect knight! --- Lost love found At fourteen, I believed I'd found my perfect knight, Yet fate intervened, and love took flight. His mother's fears, our bond did sever, Unprotected moments almost changed forever. At fifteen, new love graced my days, In a new town, a school where I felt I could stay. We held on tight despite the looming end, Sixteen arrived, and I had to transcend. Fourteen hours apart, our love couldn't endure, Bittersweet memories of a love once pure. He's now happily wed, his life in bloom, And I, too, have found my place, dispelling the gloom. In a new city, with love's tender embrace, I finally belong in this cherished space. Through trials and heartache, I've journeyed far, Finding love anew, beneath a guiding star. ---
