Lost in words......
It’s That Time of the Year Again It’s that time of the year again, when the sky feels too close, too heavy, and my breath tangles in the weight of memories. There’s a silence louder than sound, an ache I can’t place, a scream trapped behind stitched lips. The world claps and sings for me, but I feel like a ghost hovering just outside my own life. I forget how to smile without trembling, forget how to explain why joy feels foreign, why the mirror looks like betrayal. The days blur— a stream of sadness, confusion, numb stares and restless nights. I’m angry without reason, hurt without words, and I shove away the hands that reach too kindly. Don’t they know? Love feels like weight right now— too much, too close, too loud. I want to vanish into corners, curl up with the versions of me that once knew how to feel. Everything is too much. Everyone is too near. And yet—I crave an understanding I’d never let anyone give. So I turn— not to people, but pages. My pen becomes my refuge, my truth in the blur. Oh well, it’s really that time of the year.
