LOST IN THE HAZE
I'm lost in the haze of my own mind The weight of the world is hard to find A balance that once was, now feels so far away I'm searching for solace, night and day The tears I've cried, the pain I've known Echoes of memories that refuse to go I'm trying to hold on, but it's slipping away A fragile thread, that's fraying each day I'm not okay, but what does that mean? A phrase that's whispered, a truth unseen I'm searching for answers, for a way to heal To find my footing, to learn to feel The darkness closes in, it's hard to breathe The silence screams, it's all I can perceive I'm reaching out for help, a hand to hold But it's hard to find my voice, my story untold In the stillness, I hear my heart beat A rhythm that's steady, a pulse that repeats A reminder that I'm alive, that I exist A spark of hope, a light that insists Maybe someday, I'll find my way Through the shadows, into a brighter day Where the weight of the world won't feel so real And I'll learn to breathe, to let my spirit heal
