lost in the darkness

lost in the darkness I wonder in vain longing for light but all I feel is pain the shadows surround me a cold endless void no light to guide me no hope to avoid I stumble and trip over unseen debris my heart beats faster I cannot break free the darkness and golfs me I cannot escape my soul is fading my spirit does ache but wait what is that a flicker of light a glimmer of hope a break in the night I follow the beacon it leads me to a door a New path before me a chance to explore I step through the threshold the lights floods my soul my heart feels with warmth my spirit made whole no longer lost in darkness I can now see the light of Hope forever guiding me
