lost in the dark
Lost in the dark, I roam alone, Shadows whisper, a chilling tone. No stars to guide, no light to see, A prisoner of this obscurity. The night engulfs, a cloak of despair, As I stumble upon the cobweb's snare. Every step taken, uncertain and slow, No direction, no path, where should I go? Silent echoes of forgotten dreams, A labyrinth of confusion, it seems. Uncertainty wraps around me tight, As I wander through this endless night. But even in the darkness, small glimmers shine, A candle's flame, a beacon divine. Within this void, my spirit will soar, For light can prevail, forevermore. With courage in heart, I find my way, Through the darkest depths, where shadows play. For within the depths of this unknown, Lies the strength to rise and call it my own. Lost in the dark, a journey unknown, But within this darkness, light will be shown. I'll keep pushing forward, till dawn breaks anew, For amidst the shadows, I'll find myself too.
