"Lost in the Chill"
I'm feeling too cold, I think I'm losing my consciousness, My mind has gone numb, my eyes slowly close. My heart drowns in this deep ocean, My emotions have lost their way. Don't know what to do, no light I see, I never asked for love, I longed for some peace. I wanted nothing but just to fade, I'm too tired, my head hurts, I wanna stop and go to sleep, But I keep seeing those stars in the sky, and I envy them. I love the clouds, wish to be there, I like birds, I'm jealous of them. In this cold, where thoughts freeze, And dreams shiver in the breeze, Lost amidst the dark, yearning for release, Yearning for the warmth, a moment of ease. But as the night deepens, and shadows grow, The chill wraps tighter, a relentless blow. No solace found, no respite near, Just endless sorrow, drowning in fear. So let the stars fade, the clouds turn gray, And the birds' song die in the fray. For in this cold abyss, where hope has fled, There's only silence, where dreams lie dead.
