Lost in my mind
I dwell in a world not quite of earth, Of castles in the air and the skies Of mountains hanging from the thread of light, Where murims whisper secrets to the wind Yes... I am Lost in my mind. I am the monarch of reverie, I wear robes of royalty, silks no loom could weave I look down I see a skirt of princesses I'm probably barbie lost in disney's land of fantasies Lost in my mind. I am disarrayed how could one soul dream a million dreams? A genie in a lamp, one rub and poof!!! All my dreams would come true! Alladin's fairy tale of flying boots and mats magic? maybe, madness? Probably. hehehehe.... Lost in my mind. The preacher-man warned, “The mind, child, is a temple or a trap.” Ancient scrolls sang of thought becoming flesh. Maybe I'm not so lost after all I might not be lost for the world But this I am certain I am lost in my mind.
