Lost in an endless night
Lost in an endless night In shadows deep where silence weeps, A heavy heart in stillness keeps, The echoes of a laughter lost, A fragile dream, a bitter cost, Beneath the weight of an endless night, The stars, they fade, devoid of light, Each tear a story, softly told, In whispered tones, both shy and bold, The world outside, a vibrant hue, Yet here I stand, in shades of blue, A canvas painted with despair, Where hope once danced, now lingers bare, The memories, like ghosts, they roam, In every corner, they find a home, A fleeting glance, a touch, a sigh, In every heartbeat, a silent cry, Lost in an endless cold night, Only sounds of the echoed cries, No beacon of shimmering hope in sight, The only way out is at a roll of a dice.
