Lost in a Moment
I know your gone I know I'm to move on But you never made it past that moment And I'll never make it past this torment We moved you, mourned you, put you to rest I know what you wanted and I did my best For you its all over, the end of the path But I'll be stuck on that road, every breath til my last You were my comfort, my constant, my healer And somehow I became your killer I know you would want it no other way I know you wouldn't change a day People talk about you now, how you were and how you are Some say you're always nearby, others say you're quite far Truth is, I have no idea what happens next And I've never been more perplexed Everyone has a different idea about what happens now But every one of them make me raise my brow The options are good and bad and somewhere in between But what's it really matter cause nothing is ever as it seems I want the best for you, but I want it to be real I can't cling my last hope on something people feel I'll see you again, I don't know if it's true But if I see you again, I know just what I'll do To hold you again, to be held To be in your arms and just melt To kiss your lips, to feel your skin We'll both be whole again
