LOST DREAMS

I was once a young lad With many dreams i once had I remember wanting to be an astronomer Because I liked to look at the stars in wonder And become the next Galileo So i could have a constellation named after me, like leo I wanted to be an actor I knew how to put an act on I didn't know how the act would go I just wanted to be an actor you know I also wanted to be a psychologist So i would not be an antagonist In relating with people I wanted to become more acceptable As time went by All the dreams i had went dry Till it became a thing of the past No matter how hooked on them i was I guess somewhere deep down; i knew it wouldn't last As i didn't have a cause
