Lost constellation
Constellations nowhere surround my world. The stars have lost their final war to gravity's curl. Freezing cold lingers on some paths, A hint of mist, but no snow to bring a laugh. Rain falls somewhere, too light to exist, The clouds are reckless, unaware of everyone's need. Mountains tower high from my sight, Tough to touch the sky; someday, they'll be visible even from ground height.
