Lost But Never Found
I'm sorry for the constant texts, I know I can be a burden, Expecting prompt responses, my anxiety's concern. I feel bad when you take your time, I shouldn't be so needy, Maybe I should temper my expectations, be more understanding and freed. I'm sorry I fell deeply in love, without asking if you felt the same, I focused on my own emotions, neglecting your heart's flame. Perhaps you deserve someone better, someone who's a perfect fit, I apologize for my blind love, my tunnel vision, my selfish grit. I claimed love is unconditional, yet I gave you conditions to meet, Loyalty, respect, care, and honesty, a heavy heart to greet. I expected you to make time for me, without considering your own pace, Maybe you knew I wasn't the one, and I should have respected your space. I am sorry, my apologies, for my mistakes and my flaws, For not seeing things from your perspective, for not being more aware.
