lost
In shadows deep, I wander lost, A maze of thoughts, a tempest tossed. Confusion reigns, my heart a ghost, Emotionally adrift, I am engrossed. Whispers echo, secrets untold, Mysteries unfold, my soul grows cold. In the darkness, I search for light, But all I find is endless night. Lost in a labyrinth of my own design, I yearn for clarity, a sign. Yet the answers elude my grasp, And confusion tightens its cruel clasp. So I drift, adrift, in a sea of doubt, Lost in the shadows, consumed by drought. Emotionally adrift, I roam alone, In a world of mystery, all my own.
