Lost
Drifting alone in the cosmic tide, Through nebulae where secrets hide, I wandered past the moons that weep, Past suns that dream in endless sleep. Stars whispered tales of fate and chance, Galaxies wove their silver dance, Yet still, my heart, adrift and free, Sought something more in the cosmic sea. Then, like a comet fierce and bright, You tore the veil of endless night, A beacon through the astral storm, A soul so wild, yet soft and warm. Your laughter rang through hollow space, Like echoes time could not erase, And in your eyes, I glimpsed a place, Where love outshines the vast embrace. No longer lost, no longer free, I found my home in you and me, Two wandering lights, now bound as one, A love as vast as stars undone.
