Losing You
Losing you was like a sudden gust, A hurricane that left me crushed. The pain I felt, it cut so deep, Leaving scars that I still keep. Getting through the day became a chore, Each moment felt like a battle, a war. The world around me seemed to fade, As I navigated through this dark cascade. But here I stand, still standing tall, Though the struggle lingers, I won't fall. For in the depths of my despair, I found strength I never knew was there. Every day I take a step, I move ahead, Embracing the memories, though they fill me with dread. But as I journey through this daunting plight, I know I'll find solace in the darkest night. Losing you was painful, that much is true, But in this pain, I've grown and grew. And though the struggle exists today, I'll find my way, come what may. Romique
