Lost in the shadows of my mind I search for the pieces of my mind Scattered like shards of broken glass I tried to put back together The more I try ,the more I lose My sense of self slipping away Like sand through my fingers I am a ghost of who I was Haunted by memories of a past That I can never grasp I wander aimlessly in the darkness Lost in a see of confusion But I will not give up the ghost I will keep searching for the light To get me back to myself And find the peace I so desperately need
