LOSING ME
In love's tangled web, a sorrowful plight, Losing oneself, fading into the night, A heart too giving, consumed by its fire, Forgetting one's worth, as passions inspire. The most painful thing, a poignant refrain, Loving too much, neglecting self's domain, A sacrifice made, with every heartbeat, But in the end, a soul left incomplete. Forgetting you're special, a cruel amiss, As love's illusion steals your self, remiss, In shadows you dwell, a ghost of your own, Aching in silence, with no voice to moan. The echoes of longing, a haunting cry, As you fade away, a tear in your eye, The emptiness grows, consuming your core, Lost in the depths, never felt before. But remember, dear soul, you're precious, too, A star in the sky, with a light that's true, Reclaim your essence, rise from the abyss, Embrace your worth, in self-love's gentle kiss. For the pain may linger, but you shall find, That loving yourself mends the broken mind, In sorrow's embrace, you'll learn to be whole, And find solace within, reigniting your soul. πππππ
