Looking back
I'm uncertain of my feelings; whether be happy or be sad. But deep inside I sense a touch that I'm your unknown Dad. Been living with this knowledge even though I'm still unsure. With my life so frail and bitter and the pain my heart endured. Long time ago in eighty four I met this pretty brown-eyed girl. Who gave me joy and shared her love and befriended my modest world. Yet from this unity you were born as I was totally unaware. But now I feel a sense of guilt without my presence there. Your mother was my heart and love, with her face now in my heart. She raised you with strong self-beliefs as I failed to do my part. These days I am in mourning as the darkness haunts my pain. In my heart I have this little wish to have you in my life again.
