Looking Back
Looking back at my past decisions, being at peace with 'em, I see the roads I took, the bridges burned, and how I emerged. Through every storm and sunny day, I learned to find my way, Each choice, a stepping stone that led me to today. The times I stumbled, fell, and cried, I rose up stronger still, With every scar and lesson learned, I climbed another hill. In the mirror, I see clearer, with the strength that came from pain, And in the calm of hindsight's glow, I cherish what remains. For every turn and twist of fate, I hold no bitterness, With every step, I've grown to know that peace is found in this: Accepting all that came before, the good, the bad, the gray, And loving every part of me that lived through yesterday, made it through the maze, still soUl searching for a place, called home, will I find it, eye don't know....
