Look How Much I've Grown
Since we stopped talking, look how much I've grown I feel so much more confident, a person of my own But no one knows you're partly the reason That I don't hide in hoodies every season If we didn't fall out, I would've stayed insecure And wouldn't have listened to myself reassure My friends have noticed me more confident Ever since the fall out, yeah, that incident I'm not so scared to talk to people anymore It's not bad, but I do still overthink as before I never over thought much. Maybe you're partly at fault Why I'm scared to trust you again, my heart like a money vault You are my best friend, but why do I think Maybe you'll stop talking again and let my feelings sink But when we stopped talking, I focused on myself Instead of hating, saying the things I liked a bit about myself I used to downgrade myself, and now I'll tell anyone I'm funny and smart But it's not that confidence that you play part Since we stopped talking, look how much I've grown I feel so much more confident, a person of my own.
