Longing for peace by Chew
Blood sweat and tears, Flowing through the year, People live in fear, Where war is near. Men fight with all their lives, Protect children and their wives, Never once did they deny, To battle and to sacrifice. Bullets shooting in the air, Hitting those in despair, Bombs explode everywhere, This is something one can't bear. Days after what's left is dust, Some were killed, some were burned, Lots of men did not last, Those who left shall not return. War is as deadliest as hell, Even angels cannot help, Greed and power surpass love, This is why none can help. Oh please dear God, Do end this hell, People is suffering , And can't sleep well. Oh dear God, Can't you hear? Hearts broken piece by piece, What they longed is just peace. Please grant them what they longed, Families unite, children laugh, No more violence nor bloodshed, That's the world they longed for.
