Long Summer Dream

I'd look for you in crowds My search for lingering traces of you would take me back to places we've been In memory of things that remind me of you I can't help but write you along the lines of my poetry I have always loved the idea of loving you I would spend my mornings daydreaming about you And my night with you in dreams My thoughts are filled with you Daily and nightly I loved you like that I loved you that much Then I woke up from the long summer dream
