Lonely Wolf
I'm a lonely wolf trying to navigate through, Ain’t got no hand to pull me through. No GPS, no familiar trail, no compass too, No clue, just whispers saying, “It’s all you.” Trying to reach the mountain’s peak, No hands to hold, no light in sight. So I’m swerving, my ribs rattle from the weight of hope. Not strong, not bold enough I’m weak, might need a puff to fight. Climbing dreams with a fraying rope. My mind a maze, my heart a scar, Each step I take feels twice as far. The peak I seek feels carved in glass, And I'm just crawling through Shattered past. The climb is slippery, No stick to hold the ground. I’m weary, nearly reaching out For anybody to hold in. I've got no friends, just hollow ends. It's always these ones who steal my fiends. Every one of them, claiming bends, Only to twist till the friendship ends. Is this what it takes? To lose my tribe? To question love each time I vibe? The echoes mock what trust intends It always ends... with one's own fiends. Yet I still climb... With blistered feet and trembling rhyme. Silence louder than a crowded room, My thoughts echo like a ghost in gloom. I laugh less now, just to survive,
