Lonely
Loneliness, how I hate it. I feel alone, even in the presence of a thousand, or even a million. My soul is lonely, because only a few can comprehend its wavelength, and these few are almost impossible to find. Loneliness, how I hate it, I feel alone, even when I was led to believe I'd met my soulmate. But now I realise, I love the idea of him, of us, I am not in love with him. He and I, we are so similar yet so different in the ways that matter most to me. Now I wonder, do I let go or hope that one day our souls will fall in love? Loneliness, how I hate it. I miss my muse, the one whose soul I fell in love with. The one who made me feel seen, heard, and made me excited about life. The one who never made me feel alone. Loneliness, it's time to say goodbye to you. Now as I fall in love with my soul all over again, and be happy in my own company.
