Lonely
I've been thinking blue All and more about you Even though it won't be true, If I say you didn't grow Upon me You were my light in the dusk You were my secret weapon that I'd never husk You were the midday rain that I'd sit by the window and watch, You were the droplets of water that I'd be scared to touch But that's it, you were, Not are, never are And though you being at that time brought me pain but happiness, I can never forget how I am now merely a stranger And yes, you've brought me pain, You made me devastated till I couldn't get more strength to gain But what we had will always stay deeply engraved in my heart, Even if you don't see me in the dark And through those pain and weakness, You've brought me strength You made me learn to survive on my own, something I'd never even thought of in my wealth You left me alone, I latched onto you desperately But you leaving made me adapt To feeling lonely.
