Loneliness's Lullaby
In shadows deep, she sits alone, A solitary soul, unknown. No laughter echoes, no friends to share, A heart burdened by despair. Once, joy sparkled in her eyes, But now, those flames have turned to sighs. For every bond she tries to mend, A fleeting friendship, a short-lived trend. They come to her, with smiles so bright, But leave as quickly, out of sight. Their words of comfort, empty shells, As loneliness's grip compels. She yearns for connection, a loving hand, To understand her, to understand. But in the silence, she's left to roam, A lonely soul, forever home.
