Loneliness
The painfulness of loneliness can be An almost palpable thing. It can have a presence in and of itself, It can have a pulse and be a living thing. It can bite and maim, it can rend and tear, It can hurt you like a physical pain. One is the loneliest number they say, One by itself is more easily slain. The enemy of loneliness is togetherness, Wolves hunt in packs, lions in a pride. So, if ever you feel alone, if you need a friend, Call my name and I will be by your side.
