Locked up Creature.
Said that I live too quick, one day I'll drop. Said that I'm way too slow, so why not just stop? Too reckless to be loved, too boring to be used, Too manic to control and too stubborn to refuse. I was thought too smart to disappoint, I was made a doll for them to exploit. I was chained, caged, locked, from the start. I was a creature with a little too much in her heart. Hoped too much of an unexisting being, I blinded myself until there was no fleeing. Focused so much in building my wings, I forgot my heart in between her rings. I was supposed to have life, before I was controlled, I was supposed to have a self and a story to be told. I was supposed to be something, before I was to die, I was supposed to be nothing, an illusion and a lie. I’m the one to hope, cope, do it all wrong, I’m destined to be stuck in a sad classic song. I am chained, caged, locked in my mind. I’m a creature with too much soul to be defined.
