Living
A bee lands on my hand. It was attracted to brightly colored string. She started to cry. Bees scared her, you see. I told her it was mistaken. It thinks I am a flower. If I just leave it be. It will realize this and fly away. It will live on. Why kill it When it is simply just living. A babysitter is questioned by police. They had been alerted by several neighbors That this man was abducting these children. The children are confused. They are fine. They know this man very well. How is he doing wrong. When he is simply living in his own skin? An old man wanders the streets. He is simply navigating his home. People are frightened. For he was smothered in scars. He is used to it. What was the point of trying to stay alive? He ponders this every day. He was no longer needed. He gave up everything he had Just to lose everything that he was promised.
