Little secret that i will keep
The sky's pale, and the wind's biting cold, It's like a story no one's ever told. I bury my hands deep in my coat, And swallow down the words stuck in my throat. School's got me stressed, My thoughts are a stormy mess. The walls feel like they're closing in, I can't stay here, Maybe it's time to just disappear. My friends laugh, say I'm being dumb, That it's all just kid stuff, I'll get over it soon. But how can I change what I'm feeling, When I can't even say what I'm concealing? Can't say how I feel, it's just too hard, Like trying to grab stars that are way too far. I'll keep it inside, hidden away, The one thing I've promised to keep secret, come what may.
