Little by Little
In the moments when you drift away, I’m learning to unlearn the love I used to sway. With every whisper of hope that was ours, I chase the dreams beneath fading stars. Countless "What-ifs" dance in my mind, A tapestry of memories and joy intertwined. Yet it’s not easy, this path I must tread, As I unweave the threads of what we once said. But little by little, brick by brick, I’m piecing together the heart that you picked. With each passing day, I’m finding my way, Bit by bit, I’m reclaiming the sway. So here’s to the journey, the steps I will take, Though it’s steep and it’s winding, I’ll learn not to ache. For letting you go, I’m learning to be, A stronger version of who I can see.
