Limbo
Up is down and left is right. The ambiance is as eerie as the night. Metronome pauses, time is nonexistent. Space is unlimited, I can't calculate the distance. "Where am I?" Not a soul in sight. Nothing but pitch black darkness with no ounce of light. I screamed "hello"! Then I began to rejoice. I thought someone responded but it was the echo of my voice. Grabbing my composure trying to keep it contained. Wondering how much longer until I go completely insane. Could I be in a coma? Did I hit my head? Could I be fast asleep dreaming in my bed? I finally figured it out, it took all of my mentality. I'm trapped in between imagination and reality. This is a place for the forgotten and neglected. A lonely place for the lost and rejected. If you think of me will I awake? It may be the only way I can ever escape.
